Brazil: consultation on agent-assisted work
Generated Jun 2, 2026 from the role-transition ledger. Every number below is read from the same records the rest of the product runs on, so this document cannot drift away from the estate it describes.
The pack
Issued by Yolanda Reeves to Sindicato dos Empregados. Six clauses, in the order a representative body reads them.
Scope and basis
Brazilian-contracted roles in the shared service and customer-facing sub-functions. The collective agreement in force requires negotiation before any change to how individual performance is evaluated, and the data protection authority has required specific clauses on automated processing since August 2024.

407.1 full-time equivalents come off the old work in this jurisdiction. 256.6 have a named destination, 20.1 are expected to leave through natural attrition, and 130.4 have no destination written. 5 sub-functions have no transition record started at all.
Changed decision rights
This is the clause a works council actually argues about: not how many people, but who decides. Each row states the decision, who held it before, who holds it now, and what a human keeps regardless.
Every remedy decision, and the right to overturn a proposal without recording a justification.
Monitoring commitments
What the company will and will not measure about a person once agents are doing part of their work. Each commitment carries the limit that makes it enforceable rather than a statement of intent.
Performance evaluation inputs are unchanged by this program.
Bounded by: This is the commitment the collective agreement turns on, and it is the one the draft cannot yet evidence, because the appraisal integration has not been reviewed.
Automated decisions affecting an employee carry a stated reason and a human review route.
Bounded by: The review route is the standard appeal route below; the stated reason is the agent rationale already retained on the decision record.
Appeal route
Any employee whose work is routed, scored or escalated by an agent may ask for the decision to be re-made by a named human within five working days. The request goes to the sub-function owner listed on the role transition record; if the employee is not satisfied, it escalates to the function leader and then to the HR business partner named on the same record. The agent decision is suspended while the review is open. Every review is logged against the originating unit reference and is disclosable to the representative body on request.
Open questions and outcome
Does the union treat the agent rationale as sufficient reasoning under the data protection clauses, or does it require a natural-language explanation authored by a person?
Raised by Employer
This pack has never been issued. It has sat in draft since 2 June while the Brazilian sub-functions continued to move, which makes Brazil the most exposed jurisdiction in the estate: there are live role transitions here whose consultation duty is binding and unmet. Nothing on this page changes that; it only makes it visible.
Other jurisdictions
The same generator, run against the same ledger, filtered to a different jurisdiction.
These packs are assembled from the live ledger rather than typed by hand, which is the point. What they are not is legal advice: the duty analysis in each pack was written by the team building the platform, not by counsel in the jurisdiction it describes.
This pack covers 17 roles and 407.1 full-time equivalents in Brazil. It was generated, not written: change a transition record on the role transitions page and this document changes with it. It has never been issued, so nothing in it has been put to anybody.
Consultation is binding in Brazil. Until the counterpart responds, the deployment behind it is not cleared.
