Accessibility conformance
Large buyers put this in the questionnaire, and the honest answer is rarely a single word. This page states the standard, the scope, the method, and — criterion by criterion — the difference between what was actually checked and what is merely unlikely to be broken.
Health
Where conformance stands today
Criteria met, partly met and never evaluated, against the surfaces that have actually been scanned.
Conformance statement
Written to be handed to a procurement team without a follow-up call.
WCAG 2.1, levels A and AA — 55 success criteria
Every route in the product — 58 routes at the time of the scan
Automated static analysis of the rendered markup, plus code review. No assistive technology.
Naomi Feldt · Tomas Berger
A static scan of the rendered markup on every route reports 0 errors against the machine-checkable rules it covers: page language, page title, image alternatives, accessible names on buttons and links, form labels, unique identifiers, heading structure, landmark regions and dangling assistive-technology references. 2 success criteria are settled outright by that scan and 7 more have their mechanical half settled — the structure is right, the judgment the criterion also asks for has not been made.
This product does not claim to conform to WCAG 2.1 at level A or level AA, and no audit has been performed. 40 in-scope criteria have had no check of any kind run against them — every criterion that requires a screen reader, a keyboard-only pass, a contrast measurement, magnification to 400 percent, or the judgment of a person with a disability sits in that group. Nobody outside the team that wrote this interface has looked at it.
An audit by an independent practitioner against the same 55 criteria, a keyboard-only traversal of every interactive control, a screen-reader pass on the routes that carry decisions, and a contrast measurement of the palette. Until those four things happen, the accurate answer to the questionnaire is the record below rather than a yes.
By principle
The four principles of the standard, and how much of each has actually been settled by a check.
By evidence
What kind of statement can honestly be made about each criterion, and how many criteria are in each category.
A static check settles this criterion and it passes.
The mechanical part passes; the judgment part is unchecked.
No content of this kind exists in the product.
No check of any kind has been run.
A check was run and the criterion did not pass.
Route-level scan
Every route in the product, run through the same static rules. An error is a rule the markup breaks; a warning is a rule that cannot be settled mechanically.

Criterion by criterion
All fifty-five, grouped by principle. The finding line says what was actually done, in plain terms, so that nothing here reads as a pass when it was never checked.
All non-text content has a text alternative that serves the equivalent purpose.
The static scan finds no image element without an alt attribute and no icon-only control without an accessible name. It cannot judge whether the alternatives are meaningful, and the charts in this product are drawn as styled div elements rather than images, so they carry no alternative at all and the scan cannot see that they should.
Prerecorded audio-only and video-only content has an alternative.
There is no audio or video anywhere in the product. The guided demonstration is text and rendered panels; nothing is narrated.
Captions are provided for prerecorded audio in synchronized media.
No synchronized media exists in the product.
An alternative or audio description is provided for prerecorded video.
No prerecorded video exists in the product.
Structure and relationships conveyed by presentation are available in the markup.
Headings are now in order on every route, each screen has a main landmark, and the one data table with an empty column header has been given a text alternative. What the scan cannot check is whether every visual grouping is expressed structurally: many groupings in this product are conveyed by border and spacing alone.
A correct reading sequence can be programmatically determined.
Not evaluated. This criterion requires a screen reader or other assistive technology to be run against the interface. That has not happened.
Instructions do not rely solely on shape, color, size or position.
Not evaluated. This requires an editorial read of every instruction on every screen against its visual context. The product does use color-coded status extensively, so this is a likely finding rather than a safe one.
Color is not the only visual means of conveying information.
Not evaluated, and the interface leans heavily on accent color to carry status. Every status meta map in this product pairs a color with a label, which is the right pattern, but no one has checked that the label is always rendered alongside the color.
Audio that plays automatically can be paused or stopped.
Nothing in the product plays audio.
Captions are provided for live synchronized media.
No live media exists in the product.
Audio description is provided for prerecorded video.
No prerecorded video exists in the product.
Content is not restricted to a single display orientation.
Not evaluated. This criterion requires the interface to be resized, zoomed or reflowed and inspected at each step. It has not been tested at any viewport other than a desktop browser at default zoom.
The purpose of common input fields can be programmatically determined.
Not evaluated. The product collects very little personal input, so the population of fields in scope is small, but it has not been enumerated.
Text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1, or 3 to 1 for large text.
Not evaluated. This criterion requires measured contrast ratios against the rendered pixels. The palette is dark-on-dark by design and has never been measured. The product uses a great deal of slate-500 caption text on near-black panels, which is where a measurement would start.
Text can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content or function.
Not evaluated. This criterion requires the interface to be resized, zoomed or reflowed and inspected at each step. It has not been tested at any viewport other than a desktop browser at default zoom. Much of the interface is set at ten and eleven pixels, so this is a likely finding.
Text is used rather than images of text.
Not evaluated. No image of text is known to exist in the product.
Content reflows without two-dimensional scrolling at 320 CSS pixels wide.
Not evaluated. This criterion requires the interface to be resized, zoomed or reflowed and inspected at each step. It has not been tested at any viewport other than a desktop browser at default zoom. Several screens carry six-column tile grids and wide tables.
User interface components and graphical objects have a contrast ratio of at least 3 to 1.
Not evaluated. This criterion requires measured contrast ratios against the rendered pixels. The palette is dark-on-dark by design and has never been measured. Every panel in the product is separated by a one-pixel hairline in a near-background tone, which is precisely the kind of boundary this criterion tests.
No loss of content when text spacing is increased to the stated metrics.
Not evaluated. This criterion requires the interface to be resized, zoomed or reflowed and inspected at each step. It has not been tested at any viewport other than a desktop browser at default zoom.
Additional content shown on hover or focus is dismissible, hoverable and persistent.
Not evaluated. The product uses hover states widely and shows additional content on hover in at least the navigation and several tables.
All functionality is operable through a keyboard interface.
Not evaluated. This criterion can only be settled by operating the interface from the keyboard alone, which no one has done end to end.
Keyboard focus can be moved away from any component.
Not evaluated. This criterion can only be settled by operating the interface from the keyboard alone, which no one has done end to end.
Single-character shortcuts can be turned off, remapped or are active only on focus.
Not evaluated. The product is not believed to register single-character shortcuts, but no one has audited the event handlers to confirm it.
Time limits can be turned off, adjusted or extended.
Not evaluated. The session has an expiry and the guided demonstration advances on a timer; neither has been checked against this criterion.
Moving, blinking or auto-updating content can be paused, stopped or hidden.
Not evaluated. The guided demonstration auto-advances and several panels animate on mount.
Nothing flashes more than three times per second.
Not evaluated. No flashing content is known to exist, but the animation set has not been reviewed against the threshold.
A mechanism is available to skip repeated blocks of content.
Not evaluated, and there is no skip link in the shell. Every screen repeats the full navigation before the content begins, which is the exact case this criterion exists for.
Pages have titles that describe topic or purpose.
Every route in the scan returns a non-empty document title. The titles are derived from the route metadata and describe the screen.
Focusable components receive focus in an order that preserves meaning.
The scan confirms no element carries a positive tabindex, so the document order is the focus order. Whether the document order preserves meaning on each screen has not been walked.
The purpose of each link can be determined from its text or context.
The scan finds no link without an accessible name. Several links read only as a short label such as the name of a screen, which is determinable from context but weak in isolation.
Multipoint or path-based gestures have a single-pointer alternative.
Not evaluated. No multipoint gesture is believed to exist in the product.
Functions triggered by a single pointer can be aborted or undone.
Not evaluated.
The accessible name of a control contains its visible label text.
Not evaluated. Two controls in this product were given an accessible name that is more descriptive than the visible label, which is exactly the case this criterion constrains.
Functions operated by device motion have a component alternative.
Not evaluated. No motion-actuated function is believed to exist.
More than one way is available to locate a page.
Not evaluated. There is a persistent navigation and there are cross-links between screens, but there is no search and no site map, and no one has judged whether that satisfies this criterion.
Headings and labels describe topic or purpose.
The scan confirms every route now begins at a level one heading and that no heading level is skipped. Whether each heading describes its section is an editorial judgment the scan cannot make.
The keyboard focus indicator is visible.
Not evaluated, and the product overrides several default focus styles in its own component kit. This is the single most likely failure in the register.
The focused component is not entirely hidden by author-created content.
Not evaluated. The shell uses a sticky header and a fixed side navigation, both of which can obscure a focused element.
Functionality using dragging has a single-pointer alternative.
Not evaluated. No dragging interaction is believed to exist.
Pointer targets are at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels or are adequately spaced.
Not evaluated. The product uses compact controls throughout, several of which are visibly under twenty-four pixels tall.
The default human language of each page is programmatically determined.
The root document declares a language attribute and every route inherits it. This is the only conformance point localization can currently claim, and it declares English on every screen including the ones a German or French reader is expected to use.
Receiving focus does not initiate a change of context.
Not evaluated. This criterion can only be settled by operating the interface from the keyboard alone, which no one has done end to end.
Changing a setting does not automatically change context unless the user is advised.
Not evaluated. Several filter controls update the view immediately on change, which may or may not be a change of context under this criterion.
Help mechanisms appear in the same relative order on each page.
Not evaluated. There is no help mechanism in the product, which may make this criterion inapplicable, but that judgment has not been made formally.
Input errors are identified and described in text.
Not evaluated. The refusal messages the product returns are descriptive, but no one has checked that every one of them is announced where the error occurred.
Labels or instructions are provided when content requires user input.
The scan found two unlabeled form controls and both have been given an accessible name. The scan now reports no unlabeled control on any route. It cannot tell whether the instructions around each control are sufficient.
Information previously entered is auto-populated or available to select.
Not evaluated.
The language of each passage that differs from the page language is identified.
Not evaluated, and the product now stores policy text in six languages. Wherever a passage in German, French or Portuguese is rendered inside an English page it must carry its own language attribute, and nothing enforces that today.
Repeated navigation appears in the same relative order.
Not evaluated. The navigation is rendered from one shared definition, which makes conformance likely, but that is an inference rather than a check.
Components with the same function are identified consistently.
Not evaluated.
Where an input error is detected and a correction is known, it is suggested.
Not evaluated.
Submissions are reversible, checked or confirmed.
Not evaluated. The decision and scenario endpoints are irreversible once signed, and the confirmation step in front of them has never been assessed against this criterion.
No cognitive function test is required unless an alternative exists.
Not evaluated. Sign-in is an email and password form with no puzzle or transcription step, so conformance is likely, but it has not been checked.
For all user interface components the name, role and value can be programmatically determined.
The scan checks that every button and link has an accessible name and that no reference to a describing element points at an identifier that does not exist. It cannot verify role or value, and the product uses styled div elements for several interactive patterns.
Status messages can be programmatically determined without receiving focus.
Not evaluated. This criterion requires a screen reader or other assistive technology to be run against the interface. That has not happened. The product raises toasts and inline refusal messages that carry no live region.
Actions
What is waiting on a person
Almost every criterion below needs a person with assistive technology, not a scanner.
Put a remediation date against a criterion
In scope, with no target date on the record and therefore no commitment behind it.
Evaluate a criterion nobody has looked at
In scope, no method applied, no result.
Finish a partially met criterion
Met in some places and not others.

A static scan flagged something worth a human look.
Operations
What this desk is allowed to start
A surface that only reports is not operable. This is the work this page can set in motion, and the bound it runs into.
Trigger and bound
This desk can run a static markup scan across every surface and record what it found: landmarks, headings, alternative text, labels, language attributes and duplicate identifiers. It cannot operate a screen reader, test keyboard navigation end to end, judge color contrast in context, or conduct an audit. Nothing on this page is an accessibility audit and it must not be quoted as one.
Live observability
What the record shows right now
Criterion status across the standard. Not-evaluated is the honest majority.
Current distribution
55 criteria
Is policy and strategy coming to fruition
Whether the written intent is holding here
2 of 49 in-scope criteria have been verified, and only by static scan. 58 surfaces were scanned.
Not holding on the record
The written commitment is that this platform is usable by everybody who has to use it. Measured against the standard, 81.6% of in-scope criteria have not been evaluated at all. The 58 scanned surfaces returned no errors and 3 warnings, but a static scan only reads markup — it cannot tell you whether a screen reader makes sense of this platform or whether it can be operated without a mouse. No accessibility audit has been performed on this platform by anybody, internal or external.
This is not an audit and it does not claim conformance. A static scan of the rendered markup was run against every route in the product; it can settle a small number of criteria and it cannot settle the rest. Nothing here has been tested with a screen reader, from the keyboard, at magnification, or by anyone outside the team that wrote the interface.
Of 55 success criteria in the standard, 6 are not applicable because the product contains no audio, video or time-based media at all. That leaves 49 in scope, of which 9 have had a check run — 18%. The remaining 40 are unknown, not passing.
The distinction that matters to a buyer is the one between 2 settled and 40 unknown. A vendor that answers the questionnaire with a conformance claim and no method statement is telling you the first number and hiding the second. This page publishes both, and the honest position today is that the product is instrumented for accessibility work rather than conformant to a standard.
