What this desk is not
Read before quoting anything from it
There is no person in this platform. There are names typed into six separate registers, and the only join available is the exact spelling. A desk on this page is every open item carrying the same string. If one register spells a name differently, that person appears twice and neither desk is complete. If two people share a name, their work is shown as one desk. Nothing here has been reconciled against a directory.
A role is only shown where the register that raised the item stored one. Four of the six registers record who has to act and not in what capacity, so most items arrive with a name and nothing else. Where the same name carries two different titles, both are shown and neither is corrected, because the platform has no basis for choosing between them.
Being on this page is not the same as having been asked. One register records whether a notice went out. The other five hold no field for it at all, so for most of this work the platform cannot say whether the person named has ever been told it is theirs, and it should not be assumed that they have.
